American Personnel is currently interviewing qualified candidates for an Administrative Assistant needed for a company located in Port Arthur. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks and Outlook. Duties will include but are not limited to: word processing and typing, accounting task, bookkeeping, data entry, and answering of telephones. Distributing and receiving communication. Maintaining all the equipment and the supplies in the office. Picking up and delivering items related to the assigned office. Receiving and mailing correspondence on behalf of the superior officer. Maintaining all office supplies to ensure the office is well provided with all required equipment. Checking office stock as well as all expediting orders. verifying receipts and also delivering all required supplies to the appropriate work stations. Monitoring operations of equipment too and also purchasing meter fund. Providing necessary back up for other office personnel and helping to answer questions related to operation of the office. Helping in forwarding messages and confirming orders made by customers. Potential candidates must possess 2-5 years of job related experience to be considered for this opening. Hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm and the pay is $16.00-19.00 starting off. This is a potential temp to hire position for the right candidate.
